On video Tuesday (September 6th) along with American Mormon, this new reverently-funny cartoon explores Junior’s fight with metaphorical Giants.
In this first installment of Junior’s Giants LDS humorists seek to make Christian teachings fun with wit and a new animation style.

Many new parents who look back with fondness on time spent at BYU, have moved out and moved on into the challenging realm of parenting. Parenting done right requires an active sense of humor. And, looking back on my days at the “Y” I can’t say there were many better at humor that the Divine Comedy troupe.
What does this have to do with a children’s cartoon? We’re getting there. While the days of free comedy shows at the Joseph Smith Building my be gone, the group that brought us so many laughs hasn’t abandoned us.
The men behind many of those laughs at Divine Comedy have crossed over into Christian cartoon entertainment with a video debut that will have the VeggieTales shaking in the produce section.
Juniors Giants: Anger’s Everywhere is a unique and very funny half-hour cartoon using a new cut-out paper animation style. In it Junior learns about anger management as we are entertained by his very “mormon” quirky family. The first episode of this series (as I expect the following to be) is sanitized of any overt Mormon references, but serves as an excellent example of how a modern family can integrate Christ’s teachings and still remain hip.
The cartoon is much more than a Bible lesson in disguise, it’s a life-line to new parents seeking to both stay in touch with their not-so-distant youth and convey timeless values to their children in a fun way. You’ll enjoy Junior’s Giants, and your kids will too. It is packed with humor that is clean and actually funny.
I recommend this video for anyone with kids over three, kids that will someday be over three and adults who still eat Frosted Flakes.
